How can I remove or deactivate a user?

When an employee leaves your company, you’ll likely want to remove their access to Informer.

However, a user in Informer can only be deleted if they have not performed any actions within the account.

If the user has been active, they cannot be deleted.

But you can deactivate their account by marking the user as "Left the company". Inactive users can no longer log in, and if they were outside your subscription, you won’t be billed for them anymore.

To deactivate a user, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings in the left-hand menu;

  2. Choose Users;

  3. Open the user profile;

  4. Navigate to the Employment tab;

  5. Enable the Inactive option.
