In addition to logging in with a username and password, Informer also uses a security code. This provides an extra layer of security compared to other accounts. Besides the username, password, and security code, two-factor authentication (2FA) can also be set up. This requires an additional code to log in.

As an account administrator, you can make two-factor authentication mandatory for all your employees.

To enable two-factor authentication, go to Settings > Security Center.

In the Security Center, toggle the switch under 'Two-Factor Authentication' to on.

From the moment the switch is turned on, every user will always be redirected to the user page after logging in until two-factor authentication is set up. How to set up two-factor authentication is explained in the help item 'How do I enable two-factor authentication for a user?'.

Additionally, there is an option to make two-factor authentication valid for 30 days. If you log in from a known IP address, you won't need to use two-factor authentication for 30 days.
