In the ideal business world, everyone pays on time, preferably on the same day. Informer does everything possible to achieve this ideal scenario.
To make it as easy as possible for your customers to pay the invoice, you can place a QR code on the invoice. This allows your customers to pay the invoice via iDeal, and the payment will be immediately recorded in your administration.
To get the QR code working, a payment provider (e.g., Mollie) needs to be activated through the app store.
The QR code will be visible on the invoice once you have sent it.
Adding a QR Code to the Layout
You can add the QR code to the layout in two ways:
Automatically Adding the QR Code
The layout editor provides the option to automatically add the QR code at the bottom of the invoice lines. The QR code will be positioned on the left side of the page, at the same height as the invoice totals.
To activate the QR code, follow these steps:
Click on the block with the invoice lines.
Within the "Content" tab, select the "QR-code" menu.
Activate the toggle "Add QR code below the lines."
From now on, the QR code will automatically appear below the lines on the invoice.
Click "Save" in the top right corner to save the layout adjustment
Adding the QR Code at a Fixed Position
If you prefer not to have the QR code at the bottom of the lines and would like it, for example, above the invoice lines, the layout editor offers the option to determine the position of the QR code yourself.
To set the position of the QR code, the QR code block must be added. Follow these steps:
Click on the plus icon (New Element) at the top left.
Choose the "QR-code" block.
The QR code block will now be placed at the bottom left of the layout.
Hold and drag the block to your desired location on the layout.
Click "Save" in the top right corner to save the layout adjustment.
