How do I set up Sisow?

By integrating with iDEAL, you provide your customers with the option to easily pay their InformerOnline invoices via online banking. The payment instructions are automatically filled in, so after logging in, the customer only needs to authorize the payment.

iDEAL payments in InformerOnline are processed through Sisow, Mollie, or MultiSafepay. With Sisow, there is no subscription fee; you only pay per transaction. Regardless of the payment amount, transaction fees are charged. To use iDEAL in this way, you first need to create a Sisow account.

To activate Sisow in InformerOnline, go to Settings and then to the App Store.

In the list of available payment providers, click on “Sisow.”

When you created your Sisow account, you received a ‘Merchant ID’ and a ‘Merchant Key.’ Enter these codes in the designated fields. Set the desired journal and general ledger account for “Journal:” and “General Ledger Account:”, which should be linked to the iDEAL payments. InformerOnline will automatically suggest options here. If you’re unsure what to enter, consult your accountant or bookkeeping service.

All that’s left to do is click “Save.”

iDEAL is now activated. All future invoices and reminders can now be paid via iDEAL. To do this, the customer clicks on the link in the email to view the invoice online. They then select the option to pay the invoice using iDEAL.
