By integrating with iDEAL, you offer your customers the option to easily pay their InformerOnline invoices via online banking. The payment details are automatically filled in, so once the customer logs in, they only need to authorize the payment.

iDEAL payments in InformerOnline are processed through Mollie, Sisow, or MultiSafepay. With Mollie, there is no subscription fee; you only pay per transaction. Regardless of the payment amount, a transaction fee of €0.29 (excluding VAT) is charged per transaction. To use iDEAL in this way, you must first create a Mollie account.

To activate iDEAL via Mollie in InformerOnline, go to Settings and then to the App Store.

In the list of available payment providers, click on “Mollie.”

When you created your Mollie account, you received a ‘Mollie API key.’ Enter this code in the designated field. Set the desired journal and general ledger account for “Journal:” and “Category:” (default settings are Journal: Memoriaal & Category: Kruisposten Mollie), which should be linked to the iDEAL payments. InformerOnline automatically suggests options here. If you're unsure what to enter, consult your accountant or bookkeeping service.

All that’s left to do is click “Save.”

iDEAL is now activated. All future invoices and reminders can now be paid via iDEAL. To do this, the customer clicks on the link in the email to view the invoice online. They then select the option to pay the invoice using iDEAL.
