Before you can upload bank transactions and link payments to invoices in InformerOnline, you first need to create a bank account in the program.
Creating a Bank Account
To create a bank account, an IBAN number is required. If an account does not have an IBAN number, it is unfortunately not possible to create the bank account in Informer. Additionally, an IBAN number can only be used once. If your savings account has the same IBAN number as your checking account, you can only create one of the two in Informer.
Do you bank with ING, KNAB, or bunq? Then you can set up an automatic connection, even for savings accounts. With an automatic connection, bank transactions are automatically loaded without you having to do anything!
Note: You can only create a bank account in an accounting package! If you have an invoicing subscription, this is unfortunately not possible.
Adding the Initial Bank Balance
After creating the bank account, the initial balance must still be added if the balance is different from €0. How to add an initial balance is explained in the help item 'How do I set an opening balance?'.
