It may happen that you want to add a savings account to your administration.

To create a bank account, an IBAN number is required. If an account does not have an IBAN number, it is unfortunately not possible to create the bank account in Informer. Additionally, an IBAN number can only be used once. If your savings account has the same IBAN number as your checking account, you can only create one of the two in Informer.

The process of creating a checking/savings account is explained in the help item "How do I create a bank account?". Make sure to select 'Savings Account' under account type.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to upload bank transactions from a savings account.

You can enter the transactions manually. Instructions for this can be found in the help item "How do I manually record a bank payment?"
