How do I link an administration to my Accountancy portal?

It may happen that a new client of yours is already using InformerOnline. In that case, the client's administration can be linked to your accounting portal.

Link an administration

Retrieve the Connect code

To find the connect the new client must follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to Settings in the left-hand menu;

  2. Open the administration you want to connect and click open the tab Advanced;

  3. Copy the connect code by clicking on the Copy button;

  4. The code can be sent to you, for example, via email;

Enter the Connect code

Once you have the code follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to Clients in the left-hand menu of your accountancyportal;

  2. On the right, choose Link existing administration

  3. Enter the connect code you received and choose Save;

  4. The invitation is now sent and can be accepted by the client.

Accept invitation

Now the invitation is sent the client can accept the invitation. To accept this invitation the client must follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to Settings in the left-hand menu;

  2. Open the administration you want to connect and click open the tab Advanced;

  3. The invitation can be accepted by clicking Accept;

  4. After the invitation is accepted, you as accountant will have access to the administration via the accountancyportal.

Note: After linking, the default billing will be set to "To accountant". If you want the client to receive the invoice follow the steps in the help item Invoice to the customer or invoice to the accountant?
