How do I manage Mileage tracking?

With InformerOnline, you can easily keep track of your mileage and calculate your mileage reimbursement effortlessly.

There are two ways to enter your trips:

  • Manual entry

  • Automatic synchronization with the TrackJack app

Registering Trips via Manual Entry

Adding a Vehicle

Before you can start logging trips, you'll need to add a vehicle. To add a vehicle, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to Settings in the left-hand menu;

  2. Choose Vehicles and click New to add a new vehicle;

  3. Enter the required information and click Save.

Entering rides

Once your vehicle is added, you're ready to log your rides. To do so, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to Rides in the left-hand menu and click New;

  2. Enter the date of the ride;

  3. Select the vehicle of the ride;

  4. Choose two relations or enter the zip codes to calculate the mileage;

  5. If applicable, activate Retour to automatically log the return ride;

  6. Add a Description and Note about the trip, then click Save.

Synchronizing Trips with TrackJack

Instead of entering trips manually, you can connect with TrackJack. By linking TrackJack, your vehicle's on-board device communicates directly with Informer, and your trips are automatically logged.
