If you bank with Knab, you can link your business bank account to your bookkeeping system. This eliminates the need to manually download and upload bank transactions into your accounting software. Every morning (Tuesday to Saturday), your bank transactions will be automatically recorded in your bookkeeping. Knab charges €1.50 per month for the connection, and Informer charges €1 per linked account.

Note! Before linking your Knab account, make sure your current bank account is up to date!

(*) When you create the connection, transactions will be automatically imported from the current date. For example, if you last updated your bank a month ago, the transactions from the past month will NOT be imported. So, make sure to update your bank account first!

If your bank account is not yet listed in your bookkeeping system, you don't need to add it manually. The account will be directly added in InformerOnline when you set up the connection.

Follow the steps below to set up the bank connection:

  1. Log in to your Knab account and go to "Instellingen."

  2. Click on "Boekhoudkoppeling"

  3. Select the account(s) you want to link. (Do you have multiple accounts for different bookkeeping records? You can select all of them. In InformerOnline, during step 7, they will be linked to the respective bookkeeping records.)

  4. Click on "Open Informer."

  5. Log in to InformerOnline.

  6. Select the bookkeeping record to which you want to link the account.

  7. Provide a description (you can leave the rest as is).

  8. If you want to link multiple accounts, repeat steps 6 and 7 for each account.

  9. Afterward, return to the Knab environment and confirm the connection(s).

  10. Congratulations! The bank connection has been set up.
