With bunq, it is possible to approve payments in the bunq app. This help item explains how it works.

In the menu on the left, choose Expenses - Invoices and check the invoice or invoices you want to pay.

In the example above, purchase invoice 5007195 will be paid. Once the invoice is checked, you can choose Payment Batch under Select Action.

A pop-up will appear where you can select the correct bank account and optionally adjust the amount to be paid. With the automatic connection from bunq, the Payment Method will be: Directly via the bunq app. If everything is correct, click Pay.

Another pop-up will appear, notifying you that the payment(s) have been sent to your bunq app and that you will need to confirm the payments there.

Once you have confirmed the payment in the bunq app, the status of the invoice will change from Outstanding to Paid.
