As an entrepreneur, you want to focus as much as possible on what you’re good at and what you enjoy doing. Bookkeeping is often not one of those things you look forward to, but it is a necessary task. For many business owners, processing speed is therefore important.

In addition to importing new journal entries, it is also possible to duplicate existing entries. This is particularly useful when an existing entry needs to be recreated with only a different date.

To duplicate a journal entry, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to Advanced in the left-hand menu;

  2. Find the entry you want to duplicate and select the checkbox;

  3. Click on Select an action in the top-right corner;

  4. Choose Duplicate;

  5. Select the desired date for the entry in the Creation Date field and click Duplicate.

The journal entry is now duplicated and dated with the selected date. The copy can be recognized by its description, which will include "(Copy of [entry number])".
