In Informer’s layout editor, you have full control over the layers of elements, allowing you to arrange items such as text, images, and logos exactly how you want. This flexibility helps you create a customized, professional layout.

Check and manage layers

To check and manage the layers, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to Settings in the left-hand menu;

  2. Open the desired layout;

  3. In the top left corner, click on the third icon Layers ;

The menu will show all the layers currently on the open page.

Layer Order: The topmost item in the list represents the element that is furthest behind in the layout. Conversely, the lowest item in the list appears at the front of the layout.

For example, if you use a background, it will be at the top of the list since it needs to sit behind all other elements.

If you’re working with multiple pages or sections:

  1. Open, above the layout, the dropdown with the name of the layout;

  2. Select Subsequent Pages to view and manage layers for different pages of the document;

  3. Activate the grid for precise alignment by enabling the grid tool in the layout editor. This ensures that elements are neatly positioned relative to each other.

With the layers feature, you have the freedom to position and arrange elements exactly as you envision, ensuring that your layout reflects your brand and looks professional.
