Your company's branding is key to its identity, and incorporating that branding into your invoices can help reinforce recognition with your customers. In Informer, you have full control over the design of your layout, including your logo, colors, fonts, and more. Here's an overview of everything you can customize:

What can I customize in my layout?

Each element in your layout, such as customer details or invoice information, can be individually customized.

Once you click on an element, the Customize Element menu will appear with different tabs to modify its content, style, background, and advanced settings.

Content

Once you click on an element, the Customize Element menu will appear with the tab Content opened.

This tab allows you to manage the core content of the element.:

  1. Text: Change the text within the selected element. You can input fixed text or use dynamic tags, such as customer details or invoice amounts, which will auto-populate.

  2. Element Name: Assign a name to the selected element. This name will appear in the Layers menu, helping you organize your layout.

Styling

The Styling tab gives you control over the appearance of the text and the element's borders:

  1. Typography:

    • Change the font (style, size, weight, and color).

    • Adjust the alignment (left, right, center) to position the text within the element.

  2. Borders:

    1. Add and customize borders for the element.

    2. Modify the border color to match your company's color scheme.

Background

The Background tab allows you to customize the background of each element:

  1. Background:

    1. Background Color: Add a background color to the element to help it stand out or match your brand’s color palette.

    2. Import Background: If you prefer, you can upload a custom background image and apply it to the element.

Advanced

In the Advanced tab, you have more control over positioning and display settings:

  1. Geavanceerd: Adjust the position of the element manually or use the grid alignment tool to ensure precise placement and uniformity with other elements.

    1. Show Only on Last Page: Enable this option if you want the content of the element to only appear on the last page of multi-page documents (for example, a summary or final message).

  2. Custom CSS: If you have experience with CSS, you can apply custom styles to the element, giving you even more control over its appearance and behavior.

Save and Preview

Once you're done with your customizations, you can preview the layout to ensure everything looks the way you want it. Don’t forget to save your changes to apply them to your documents moving forward.

By using these customization tools, you can create a fully branded, professional layout that matches your company's unique style and enhances the visual appeal of your invoices and other documents.
