How do I delete or (de)archive a contact?

As an entrepreneur, you want to keep your administration well organized. An up-to-date contact list is part of that. After all, you do not want to see contacts you no longer deal with, for example because you no longer make purchases from that contact.

How do I delete a contact?

To delete a contact, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Relations in the menu on the left;

  2. Select the relation(s) you want to delete;

  3. Choose Select an action;

  4. Click Delete;

  5. Choose Delete in the popup to delete the contact(s).

Note: You can only delete a contact if there are no documents such as invoices linked to the contact.

How do I (de)archive a contact?

If documents such as invoices are already linked to a contact, it cannot be deleted. In that case, you can archive the contact.

To archive a contact, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Relations in the menu on the left;

  2. Select the relation(s) you want to archive;

  3. Choose Select an action;

  4. Click Archive / unarchive;

  5. Choose Continue in the popup to archive the contact(s).

Once archived, the contact will disappear from the All tab and will only be visible in the Archived tab.

To unarchive an archived contact, click the Archived tab and follow the steps above.
