How do I add free fields?

Do you want to store your own information for a contact or display it on the invoice? Some institutions require more information on an invoice than Informer includes by default. In such cases, you can use custom fields.

Adding free fields

To create custom fields follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to Settings in the left-hand menu;

  2. Choose Free Fields;

  3. In Name fill in the name you want for this new free field;

  4. Choose the type of the free field.;

    1. Textfield

    2. Text box

    3. Date

    4. Selectmenu

    5. Checkbox

    6. Radio buttons

  5. Check Required field if this field is required for every relation;

  6. Fill in a number in the Order field. In this order the free fields will appear in the relations.
