The Informer mobile application is ideal for quickly photographing and uploading purchase invoices and receipts. This way, while you are still on the road, you can already add the purchase invoice or receipt to your administration.
Photograph or upload a purchase invoice or receipt
To upload a purchase invoice or receipt to the administration, follow the steps below:
Choose Receipts at the bottom of the menu;
Click ‘+’ at the top right;
The application automatically looks for the document, scans and photographs it, or choose a photo from your gallery via the button at the bottom left.
If you have multiple pages, add all pages;
Once you have added all pages, click on the photo at the bottom right;
Choose one of the following options:
Add to add extra pages;
Retake to take new photos;
Crop to remove unnecessary photographed space from the displayed page;
Rotate to rotate the displayed page clockwise;
Delete to discard the displayed page;
Done if everything is correct and you want to upload the photos;
Choose Receipt if the photos are receipts or Invoice if they are purchase invoices;
AI analyzes the photos and fills in the form with the category, description, date, and amount;
Adjust if desired and choose ✔️ at the top right;
The documents are now uploaded to the administration.
Upload purchase invoices and receipts directly
Time is money, and therefore you want to be finished with the administration as quickly as possible. A faster way of uploading purchase invoices and receipts naturally helps with this.
When uploading each purchase invoice or receipt, AI analyzes the photos and fills in the form with the data if it can be found. This is of course a very useful feature, but sometimes you want to continue uploading quickly, especially if you upload many purchase invoices or receipts monthly.
Informer has therefore made it possible in the mobile app to upload the purchase invoice or receipt directly after photographing it, without the form step. To skip this step, follow the steps below:
Choose the gear icon at the top right;
Enable the toggle next to Direct upload;
When uploading a purchase invoice or receipt, the form step will now be skipped. This will significantly speed up the upload process.
