If you have a Bunq account and have activated the automatic bank connection, there is the option to reserve VAT. Below you will read how this can be set up.

Via "Settings -> VAT" you can click on the "VAT reservation" button. The following window will appear.
โ€‹Note: the window below will only appear if at least two bunq accounts have been created within Informer. Otherwise, Informer cannot reserve the VAT.

When the checkbox is enabled for 'Automatic VAT reservation', you can enter various details.
The payment account and VAT account are self-explanatory.
The payment account is where your bills are paid and is your main bank account. The VAT account (the second account that probably needs to be created) is where the VAT will be reserved.

You can specify whether the VAT reservation should occur daily or weekly. You can also set a specific time when the reservation booking should take place.

Once everything is set up correctly, Informer will automatically reserve the current VAT amount. After approval in the Bunq app, Informer will transfer the amount to the VAT account.
