If you have sent a quotation to your customer, you hope that the offer in the quotation will be accepted.
Your (potential) customer can easily accept the quotation online, or you can accept the quotation after receiving approval. Once the quotation is accepted, it can be invoiced.
Accept quotation
There are 2 ways to accept a quotation:
The customer can accept the quotation online.
You can accept the quotation manually.
Accept online
If the quotation has been sent by email, your customer can view the quotation online.
While viewing, the quotation can also be accepted immediately.
To accept the quotation, the customer enters a Name and optionally a Comment.
By accepting the quotation online, the quotation receives the status Accepted. You will also immediately receive an email that the quotation has been accepted by the customer. Any added comments can be found in the log of the quotation.
Accept manually
If the customer has given you approval manually, you can accept the quotation yourself on behalf of the customer.
To accept the quotation manually, follow the steps below:
Go to Sales in the menu on the left;
Click Quotations;
Select the quotation to be accepted;
Click Select an action and choose Accept;
In the popup, click Accept to accept the quotation.
The status of the quotation is changed to Accepted.
